IEN London Office Chris Tate , Managing Director of IEN Europe

Mr. Tate has over 25 years of experience working across the oil and gas industry. Beginning in the late 1970s, and after qualifying as a Petroleum Geologist from Imperial College, he first worked for Sigma Exploration Ltd. of London, an oil company that specialized in locating European investors and joining them to qualified oil operators in the USA. Over $30 million was successfully raised and invested. Mr. Tate was intimately involved in the process of Sigma Exploration becoming a public company listed on the London Stock Exchange in the mid 1980s.

Upon completing his MBA from City University in 1988, Chris joined MacLean and Associates, a forerunner of IEN. Together with Rod MacLean, he conducted seminars and conferences on capital formation for the oil industry in both Europe and the USA. Between 1996 and 2003, Mr. Tate was involved in recruiting oil industry professionals to work on energy projects located virtually anywhere in the world. After a period working on his own investment activities, Mr. Tate was asked by Mr. MacLean to work with him again at IEN to head up the London office.

Ms Nino Benashvili, European Business Development Executive. Ms Benashvili has a BSc (Hons) degree in Chemical Engineering. Ms Benashvili is highly experienced in the sourcing of funds and the development of oil and gas projects in the FSU arena.
